Southwest Airlines Co Flight 2869 Makes Emergency Landing At DIA After Blowing Tire

Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE:LUV) flight 2869 made an emergency landing yesterday shortly after it took off from the Denver International Airport, according to the Denver Post. The flight was en route to Los Angeles International Airport when the pilot noticed a mechanical problem with the aircraft. Southwest Airlines was operating Boeing Co.'s (NYSE:BA) 737-800 twin jet aircraft on this route.
